Bollywood Socialite Orry and Seven Others Face FIR for Alcohol Consumption Near Vaishno Devi Shrine

Jammu and Kashmir Police have filed charges against Orhan Awatramani and others for violating strict rules on alcohol and non-vegetarian food near the revered pilgrimage site.

Orhan Awatramani, also known as Orry, and seven others were booked for allegedly consuming alcohol at a hotel near the Vaishno Devi shrine in Katra, Jammu and Kashmir.
The consumption of alcohol and non-vegetarian food is strictly prohibited in the area to maintain the sanctity of the religious site.
The FIR was filed on March 15, following complaints that the group violated rules despite being informed of the restrictions.
Jammu and Kashmir Police emphasized their zero-tolerance policy for activities that disrupt peace or hurt religious sentiments, with SSP Reasi instructing strict action against the accused.
Orry, a social media personality known for his connections with Bollywood celebrities, has not yet responded to the allegations.
