Bon Iver has released two new songs, 'If Only I Could Wait,' a duet featuring Danielle Haim, and 'Walk Home,' both from the upcoming album 'SABLE, fABLE.'
'If Only I Could Wait' explores the emotional challenges of sustaining love beyond its initial intensity, while 'Walk Home' delves into themes of desire and intimacy.
The album 'SABLE, fABLE,' co-produced by Justin Vernon and Jim-E Stack, will be Bon Iver's first full-length release since 2019's 'i, i' and is scheduled to drop on April 11 via Jagjaguwar.
The project spans two discs, with 'SABLE' serving as a four-track prologue and 'fABLE' introducing nine new songs, including additional collaborations with Dijon and Flock of Dimes.
The album's conceptual foundation began in February 2022 during a snowed-in recording session at Vernon's Wisconsin studio, where Haim's contribution to 'If Only I Could Wait' became a pivotal moment in its creation.
