Brandenburg Races to Recruit Thousands of Election Volunteers for Early Bundestag Vote

With the February election approaching, cities like Potsdam and Frankfurt are launching urgent efforts to fill critical volunteer roles.

Brandenburg requires approximately 27,500 election volunteers for the upcoming early Bundestag election on February 23, 2024.
Potsdam alone needs 1,500 volunteers and is reaching out to 8,000 households while also mobilizing previous helpers and city staff to meet the demand.
Frankfurt (Oder) plans to start its recruitment drive in December, leveraging social media campaigns and expressing confidence in securing the necessary 600 volunteers.
Other cities like Senftenberg and Perleberg are also actively recruiting, with varying progress toward their respective targets of 200 and 110 volunteers.
Volunteers will receive a small stipend, termed 'Erfrischungsgeld,' ranging from €25 to €35 depending on their role during the election.
