Brett Favre to testify under oath this month in Mississippi welfare fraud case

Favre is set to provide sworn testimony on October 26th regarding the misuse of welfare funds in Mississippi.
The state is suing Favre and dozens of others to recover millions in misspent federal welfare money from 2016-2019.
Funds were directed to projects Favre supported instead of going to needy families.
Projects include $5 million for a volleyball arena at Favre's alma mater and funds for a concussion drug company.
Favre denies wrongdoing and has not been criminally charged.
