British Tourist Allegedly Raped by Instagram Acquaintance in Delhi Hotel

Two men, including the primary suspect and his friend, have been arrested following the incident at a Mahipalpur hotel.

A British woman visiting India reported being raped by a man she met on Instagram at a hotel in Delhi's Mahipalpur area.
The accused, identified as Kailash, allegedly assaulted her after meeting her at the hotel, where they had dinner and drinks.
The woman also accused another man, Wasim, of molesting her in the hotel lift when she sought help after the alleged assault.
Both suspects have been arrested, and the British High Commission has been informed about the incident.
The victim, who had been traveling in Maharashtra and Goa before arriving in Delhi, reported the crime to the police the following day.
