Brothers Indicted for Operating Illegal Streaming Service

The illegal service generated over $7 million in fees while causing $100 million in damages to content owners.

Chowdhury was arrested in New York, while Rahman remains at large in Bangladesh.
247TVStream allowed users to access copyrighted content, including live sports and TV shows, without authorization.
Authorities have seized domain names and servers used by the brothers to operate the service.
The charges include conspiracy to commit wire fraud and aggravated identity theft, with potential prison sentences of up to 20 years.
