Bryan Kohberger Seeks Public Disclosure of Request for Charge Dismissal Reconsideration

The Ph.D. student, accused of a quadruple murder, challenges the court's refusal to drop charges, with arguments to be heard on January 26.

Bryan Kohberger, a Ph.D. student accused of killing four University of Idaho students in 2022, has asked the court to make public their request for the judge to reconsider his refusal to drop Kohberger's charges.
Kohberger's defense had previously made two attempts to get the charges against him dismissed, arguing that the grand jury was given inaccurate instructions and that prosecutors withheld evidence that might aid Kohberger in defending himself.
The judge denied both attempts to dismiss the charges in mid-December.
Much of Kohberger's case has been conducted out of the public's view, due to filings under seal and a restrictive gag order.
Arguments on Kohberger's requests for the judge to reconsider his decision not to dismiss the charges are set to be heard in pretrial hearings on Jan. 26.
