Bucks' Middleton Undergoes Knee Surgery, Coach Budenholzer Fired

Khris Middleton had a surgical procedure on his right knee after the Bucks' first-round upset by the Miami Heat.
Middleton is expected to make a full recovery and resume working on the court in July.
Middleton dealt with issues with his right knee throughout the season and missed all of Milwaukee's seven-game loss to the Boston Celtics during the 2022 Eastern Conference semifinals.
Middleton can opt into a $40.3 million player option for the 2023-24 season or become an unrestricted free agent if he chooses to opt out.
The Bucks fired coach Mike Budenholzer and replaced him with former Toronto Raptors assistant Adrian Griffin.
