C8 and NRJ12 End Broadcasts Following Regulatory Decision

The two French TV channels will cease operations at midnight after their TNT licenses were not renewed by Arcom.

C8 and NRJ12 will stop broadcasting on February 28, 2025, at midnight after failing to secure renewed TNT licenses from Arcom.
The Council of State finalized the decision on February 19, 2025, upholding Arcom's earlier ruling.
C8's final programming includes reruns of popular shows and a prime-time best-of special, while NRJ12 features nostalgic programming and a farewell event hosted by Ayem Nour.
From March 1 to June 5, placeholders on channels 8 and 12 will display information about upcoming TNT changes, with new channels LCP/Public Sénat and Gulli taking over these slots in June.
New entrants T18 (CMI France) and OFTV (Ouest-France) will join the TNT lineup in June and September, respectively, occupying channels 18 and 19.
