California Brothers Shatter State and National High School Basketball Records

Nick Khatchikian scored 102 points and Dylan Khatchikian tied a national assist record with 35 in a historic 119-25 victory for Mesrobian High School.

Nick Khatchikian broke California's single-game scoring record with 102 points, surpassing the previous record of 100 set in 2003 by Tigran Grigoryan, also of Mesrobian High School.
Nick's scoring performance came in just 22 minutes, as he was pulled late in the third quarter with Mesrobian leading 79-0 at halftime.
Dylan Khatchikian, Nick's twin brother, set a California state record and tied the national record for assists in a game with 35, while also recording a triple-double with 15 rebounds and 13 steals.
The record-breaking performances occurred during Mesrobian High School's dominant 119-25 win over Waverly High School in Pico Rivera, California.
The historic achievements drew widespread attention, including a social media reaction from NBA star LeBron James, who expressed interest in viewing the game footage.
