California Voter Registration Deadline for Nov. 5 Election Ends Today

Eligible Californians must register by midnight to vote, with conditional registration available until Election Day.

Californians have until midnight on October 21 to register online or postmark mailed applications for the November 5 election.
Eligible voters can register at county election offices, libraries, DMV, or post offices, and receive a vote-by-mail ballot.
Those missing the deadline can still register conditionally at election offices or in-person voting locations until Election Day.
Mail-in ballots must be postmarked by November 5, and voters can track their ballots through the 'Where's My Ballot?' service.
Polls on Election Day, November 5, will be open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m., with results tallied after polls close.
