Canadian Police Link 1970s Murders to Deceased U.S. Serial Offender

DNA and criminal databases helped identify Gary Allen Srery as the perpetrator of four cold case homicides in Alberta.

Four young women, including two 14-year-olds, were killed in Calgary in the 1970s.
Srery evaded capture in Canada for decades using multiple aliases and illegal identification.
Authorities are seeking public assistance to connect Srery to other potential crimes.
Srery was deported to the U.S. in 2003 and died in prison in 2011 while serving a life sentence for rape.
The RCMP believes there may be additional victims and is appealing for more information.
