'Carrie' Actress and Voice Artist Samantha Weinstein Dies of Cancer at 28

Samantha Weinstein, known for roles in films like the 2013 Carrie remake, died at 28 after battling ovarian cancer.
Weinstein began acting and voice work at age six and appeared in many films and cartoons throughout her life.
She married Michael Knutson in October 2022 amid her cancer diagnosis.
Weinstein wrote about being diagnosed with a rare ovarian cancer at 25 on Instagram.
She died on May 14th in Toronto surrounded by loved ones.
