- Casey Phair, the youngest player in the history of the FIFA World Cup, has signed with Angel City FC of the National Women's Soccer League (NWSL) through the 2026 season.
- Phair, who is of American and South Korean descent, was born in South Korea but grew up in the United States.
- She made her World Cup debut for South Korea at 16 years and 26 days old, breaking the previous record set by Nigeria's Ifeanyi Chiejine in 1999.
- Phair was also the first multiethnic player, male or female, to play for a South Korean senior national team.
- Before signing with Angel City, Phair trained with several NWSL teams, including NJ/NY Gotham FC and the Kansas City Current.
