Cause of Death for Beloved Actor Ray Liotta Revealed Nearly One Year Later

Ray Liotta passed away in May 2022 at the age of 67 while filming a movie in the Dominican Republic.
His official cause of death was determined to be heart and respiratory issues, including pulmonary edema, acute heart failure, and atherosclerosis.
Though Liotta had completed filming for a few upcoming movies before his death, the status of at least one of those films, "Dangerous Waters," remains unclear.
Liotta was survived by his daughter, Karsen, and his fiancee, Jacy Nittolo, who have both paid tribute to him over the past year.
Liotta was honored posthumously with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in February 2023 in recognition of his acclaimed acting career.
