Chainsaw Man: The Movie – Reze Arc to Premiere in Japan This September

The highly anticipated film adaptation of the Bomb Girl arc will debut in Japanese theaters on September 19, 2025, with no global release date confirmed yet.

Chainsaw Man: The Movie – Reze Arc will adapt the Bomb Girl arc, covering chapters 40-52 of Tatsuki Fujimoto's popular manga.
The movie will center on Denji's interactions with Reze, a café worker, and explore themes of love, sacrifice, and intense conflict.
MAPPA has confirmed Tatsuya Yoshihara as director, Hiroshi Seko as scriptwriter, and Kazutaka Sugiyama as Character Designer.
Promotional materials highlight high-quality animation, dynamic action sequences, and a complex love triangle involving Denji, Makima, and Reze.
