Despite the playoff appearance, Lattanzio's tenure at Charlotte FC was marked with certain issues including discord with the club's front office and questionable match strategies resulting in 25 dropped points from winning positions.
The decision to release Lattanzio and Quy follows an in-depth offseason evaluation with the club's vision for 2024 and beyond, positioning this as Charlotte FC's third change of head coach since its expansion in 2022.
