Cheerleader Makes Miracle Recovery After Wrong Car Shooting

Payton Washington, a Texas cheerleader, was shot three times and critically injured after a friend mistakenly opened the wrong car door.
Washington suffered injuries to her right buttock, left abdomen, stomach, diaphragm, and spleen but kept her friends calm after the shooting.
The suspect, Pedro Tello Rodriguez Jr., was charged with deadly conduct and released on bond.
Washington has made great progress in her recovery and attended her high school graduation.
Washington tries not to think about the man who shot her and is focused on returning to normal life as a high school senior.
