His No. 10 jersey was retired by the Bulls in 1994, making him the second player in franchise history to receive this honor after Jerry Sloan.
Love overcame a debilitating stutter post-retirement, becoming a motivational speaker and serving as the Bulls' director of community relations for over a decade.
Known for his resilience and toughness, Love was a cornerstone of the Bulls' success in the 1970s and remains the franchise's second-highest scorer after Michael Jordan.
