Chicago Man Charged in Shooting of 11-Year-Old Following Traffic Incident

Jeston Harris, 27, faces multiple felony charges after allegedly firing at a vehicle in Wicker Park, injuring a child passenger.

Jeston Harris, 27, turned himself in to Chicago police on December 22 and was subsequently arrested for his involvement in a shooting on December 13.
The incident occurred in Wicker Park after a minor traffic collision, during which Harris allegedly fired shots at a vehicle carrying an 11-year-old boy.
The boy, a passenger in the vehicle, was struck in the hand and transported to Stroger Hospital, where he was reported to be in good condition.
Harris faces one felony count of aggravated battery with a firearm and four felony counts of aggravated assault with a firearm.
The shooting reportedly stemmed from a road rage incident, and Harris is scheduled to appear in court on Tuesday, December 24.
