Chicago's Air and Water Show Returns with Blue Angels and New Performers

The 2024 event features the Navy's Blue Angels, Army's Golden Knights, and new aerobatic acts, drawing over a million spectators to the lakefront.

The show runs from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on August 10-11, centered at North Avenue Beach.
Newcomers include stunt pilot RJ Gritter and the Trojan Phylers with two T-28B aircraft.
The event is free and offers prime viewing spots between Fullerton Avenue and Oak Street.
Practice runs began Thursday, adding to the anticipation and excitement.
The Air and Water Show date was moved to avoid conflict with the Democratic National Convention.
