Child Fatally Falls from Upper-Floor Flat in South London

Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the tragic incident in Kennington, with no initial signs of foul play.

Emergency services were called to Hotspur Street, Kennington, at approximately 4:20 PM.
Despite efforts from paramedics, the child was pronounced dead at the scene.
An adult woman was also injured and taken to the hospital.
The Metropolitan Police have informed the child's family and are conducting inquiries.
A cordon remains in place as investigations continue.
