Chinese Man Arrested for Vandalizing U.S. Consulate in Hong Kong with Anti-American Graffiti

A 47-year-old man from mainland China spray-painted graffiti criticizing American "hegemony" and "double standards" on the U.S. Consulate in Hong Kong.
The vandalism comes at a time of increasing tensions between the U.S. and China over trade and Taiwan.
The man was arrested on suspicion of criminal damage and could face up to 10 years in prison if found guilty.
Consulate staff reported the man causing a disturbance and the graffiti was removed shortly after.
Photos show the graffiti included the words "hegemony" and "double standards" in English and Chinese.
