Chinese PhD Student Convicted of Drugging and Raping 10 Women, Police Fear Dozens More Victims

Zhenhao Zou, a PhD student at University College London, was convicted of 11 counts of rape and 17 other offenses, including voyeurism and possession of drugs intended to facilitate sexual assault.
Police uncovered over 1,660 hours of video footage and 9 million WeChat messages, revealing Zou filmed his attacks and kept 'trophies' such as jewelry and clothing from his victims.
Investigators believe Zou may have targeted over 60 women, with attacks occurring in both London and China, and have launched appeals for additional victims to come forward.
Zou lured victims—primarily young Chinese women he met on social media and dating apps—to his high-end London apartments, where he drugged and assaulted them.
