Chris Christie Qualifies for Fourth GOP Debate

Former NJ Governor Meets Donor Threshold Amidst Competitor Campaign Suspensions

Chris Christie's campaign announced that he has met the 80,000 donor threshold to qualify for the fourth GOP presidential candidate debate in December.
The former New Jersey governor's campaign argued he has also met the polling requirement as well. The Republican National Committee requires candidates to reach 6% or higher in two national polls.
The fourth debate will be hosted by NewsNation and take place in Tuscaloosa, Ala., on December 6.
Christie's donor announcement follows two candidates, Mike Pence and Tim Scott, suspending their 2024 campaigns.
According to FiveThirtyEight, Christie is averaging around 3% in polls, while former President Donald Trump continues to hold a major lead over his competitors.
