Dinesh Phadnis, known for his role as 'Fredericks' in the popular TV show 'CID', passed away at the age of 57 due to liver damage.
Phadnis was admitted to Tunga Hospital in Mumbai a few days prior to his death.
His co-stars from 'CID', including Dayanand Shetty, Ajay Nagrath, and Shivaji Satam, paid tribute to him on social media.
Phadnis' last rites were performed in Borivali East, Mumbai.
Apart from 'CID', Phadnis also appeared in movies like 'Sarfarosh' and 'Mela', and TV shows such as 'Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah'.
