Simas Lukosius scored 28 points, including a game-winning 3-pointer with 3.1 seconds left in overtime, to lead Cincinnati to a 73-72 victory over San Francisco in the NIT.
Lukosius went 9 of 15 from the field and 8 for 10 from 3-point range, while Dan Skillings Jr. added 16 points for the Bearcats.
Malik Thomas led San Francisco with 31 points, and Ndewedo Newbury contributed 13 points and seven rebounds.
The game was closely contested, with Cincinnati leading 38-35 at halftime and the match going into overtime after a late rally by San Francisco.
Cincinnati will host Bradley in the second round of the NIT.
