Cinerama Dome and Arclight Theatres Expected to Reopen in 2025

The Decurion Corporation is planning a redesign for the iconic Hollywood venues, with no notable changes to the Dome.

The iconic Cinerama Dome and Arclight Theatres in Hollywood, closed since the start of the pandemic, are now hoped to reopen in 2025, pushing back from an earlier expected reopening in 2024.
The Decurion Corporation, parent company of Pacific Theatres which filed for bankruptcy in 2021, still owns the Cinerama Dome and Arclight Hollywood and has plans for a redesign that will not include any notable changes to the Dome.
Other Arclight Theatres locations have been taken over by other operators, including Amazon and Regal, after Pacific Theatres gave up these locations.
The reopening of the Cinerama Dome and Arclight Hollywood will face a significantly changed landscape in Los Angeles, which is no longer a two-theater platform city but usually at least three.
Despite the long closure of the Arclight and Cinerama Dome theaters, there has been cause to celebrate recently with the reopening of other theaters in Los Angeles, such as the Egyptian Theatre.
