Colin Farrell is in talks to star as Sgt. Rock, a World War II hero leading Easy Company, in a DC Studios film directed by Luca Guadagnino.
The project is part of the main DC Universe and will not overlap with Farrell's portrayal of the Penguin in Matt Reeves' separate Batman continuity.
Filming is expected to begin in the summer of 2025 in the United Kingdom, pending final negotiations with Farrell.
The screenplay is written by Justin Kuritzkes, marking his third collaboration with Guadagnino following 'Challengers' and 'Queer.'
