Colorado Property Dispute Turns Deadly: Main Suspect and Alleged Accomplice Arrested

Three killed and one wounded in rural Colorado shooting; suspect Hanme Clark and his believed girlfriend, Nancy Rae Medina-Kochis, now in custody.

  • Hanme Clark, the main suspect in the Colorado property dispute shooting, was arrested near Albuquerque, New Mexico, after about 25 hours on the run.
  • Nancy Rae Medina-Kochis, believed to be Clark's girlfriend, was also arrested in New Mexico and is suspected of being an accessory to the crime.
  • The shooting resulted in the deaths of Robert Geers, 63, his wife Beth Wade Geers, 73, and James Daulton, 58, near Westcliffe, Colorado. Daulton's wife, Patty Daulton, was also wounded.
  • According to court documents, Clark started shooting while Robert Geers was talking to a surveyor, allegedly over a trespassing dispute.
  • Other neighbors not involved in the shooting have accused Clark of harassing them, denying them court-ordered use of part of his property to access their property, and posting signs saying he was armed.
