Commodities Market Update: Crude Oil and Gold Prices Rise

Benchmark U.S. crude oil and gold see increases, while the dollar strengthens against the euro.

Benchmark U.S. crude oil for May delivery rose 32 cents to $86.91 per barrel.
Brent crude for June delivery rose 52 cents to $91.17 per barrel.
Gold for June delivery rose $36.90 to $2,345.40 per ounce.
The dollar rose to 151.57 yen from 151.21 Japanese yen, and the euro fell to $1.0834 from $1.0851.
Wholesale gasoline, heating oil, natural gas, and silver also experienced price changes.
