The accident occurred early on November 13, when Shetty's SUV collided with a bike ridden by Mohammad Hussain, who later died from his injuries.
CCTV footage captured the SUV speeding and hitting the approaching bike, after which the driver fled the scene.
Shetty was arrested the following day but was reportedly granted bail shortly after his arrest.
