Connecticut Couple Charged in $1 Million Multistate Lululemon Theft Scheme

The couple is accused of stealing nearly $1 million worth of Lululemon merchandise over a two-month period, spanning states like Minnesota, Utah, Colorado, New York, and Connecticut.
Authorities allege the pair used tactics such as distracting store employees, removing security tags, and concealing items under clothing to carry out their thefts.
Stolen items were reportedly returned to other Lululemon stores for fraudulent refunds, contributing to significant financial losses for the retailer.
Police discovered 12 suitcases containing $50,000 worth of Lululemon merchandise with tags still attached in a hotel room rented by Richards in Minnesota.
Both individuals have been released on bail and are required to perform weekly check-ins; their next court appearance is scheduled for December 16.
