Convicted Felon Who Ran Marijuana Vending Machine Pleads Guilty to Gun Possession

Marcellus Cornwell admitted to possessing 18 firearms and ammunition in his Detroit home.
Cornwell had been operating an illegal marijuana vending machine outside his home for four years, earning $2,000 per day.
In a plea deal, Cornwell pleaded guilty to being a felon in possession of a firearm, which could result in up to 10 years in prison and a $250,000 fine.
Cornwell had previous convictions for being a felon in possession of a firearm, identity theft, and armed robbery.
ATF agents discovered the firearms, ammunition, marijuana, and vending machine in a search of Cornwell’s home.
