CRKD and Gibson Launch New Les Paul Guitar Controllers for Modern Gaming Platforms

The officially licensed controllers, available in Encore and Pro editions, are set to release in June 2025 and support a range of games and devices.

CRKD has partnered with Gibson to create new Les Paul-style guitar controllers, reviving the iconic design from Guitar Hero 3.
The controllers come in two editions: the Encore Edition with standard fret and strum buttons, and the Pro Edition featuring mechanical frets and a haptic feedback strum bar.
Both models are modular, allowing users to upgrade components like fretboards, and offer three connectivity options: wired, 2.4GHz wireless, and Bluetooth.
The multi-platform versions are compatible with PC, Switch, Android, and older PlayStation consoles, while Xbox-specific models are officially licensed for Xbox Series X/S and One.
Pre-orders are now open, with prices starting at $109.99 for the Encore Edition and $119.99 for the Pro Edition, and shipping is scheduled to begin in June 2025.
