David Lynch, the acclaimed director known for his work on 'Mulholland Drive' and 'Twin Peaks', made a cameo appearance in Steven Spielberg's 2022 film 'The Fabelmans'.
In the film, Lynch portrayed legendary director John Ford, offering advice to the young protagonist, Sammy Fabelman, a character based on Spielberg's own youth.
Lynch initially declined the role, jokingly stating that he wanted to give actors like Harrison Ford and George Clooney a chance at their careers.
However, he eventually agreed to the role, with one condition: a bag of Cheetos in his dressing room, revealing his love for the snack.
Actress Laura Dern, a frequent collaborator with Lynch, was instrumental in convincing him to accept the part.
