Decapitated Woman Found in 2011 Identified as Ada Beth Kaplan

Identification Made Possible Through Investigative Genetic Genealogy, No Suspects Identified Yet

Ada Beth Kaplan, 64, of Canyon Country, California, has been identified as the decapitated woman found in a vineyard in 2011.
The identification was made possible through the use of investigative genetic genealogy by the DNA Doe Project.
Kaplan's body was found without a head or thumbs, and had been drained of blood.
Despite the gruesome nature of the crime, no suspects have been identified and the cause of death remains undetermined.
Interestingly, no missing persons report was ever filed for Kaplan.
