Decentralized social network Bluesky Launches Custom Domain Service to Generate Revenue

Bluesky, a decentralized social network,has launched a paid domain service in partnership with Namecheap as its first revenue-generating offering.
Bluesky aims to find sustainability without relying on ads by offering paid services, starting with the option for users to set up custom domains.
The domain integration allows users to manage their domains, forward emails and redirect to their Bluesky profiles or other URLs of their choice.
Bluesky plans to introduce more paid services and recently raised $8 million in seed funding to support operations, infrastructure and growth of its social network protocol.
Bluesky has experienced surging interest, temporarily halting new signups, but is now accepting new members by invite as it emerges from private beta.
