Delany Garcia-Lopez Arrested for Grand Theft of Stanley Cups

The 23-year-old faces felony charges for stealing merchandise valued at nearly $2,500 and driving under the influence.

Delany Garcia-Lopez, a 23-year-old woman from Sacramento, was arrested for allegedly stealing 65 Stanley stainless steel drinking cups valued at nearly $2,500 from a retail store.
She was charged with grand theft, a felony, as the value of the stolen merchandise exceeded $950, and also charged with driving under the influence as her blood-alcohol level was .08.
The stolen Stanley cups, which have recently surged in popularity on social media, were found in Garcia-Lopez's car trunk and passenger seat.
Garcia-Lopez posted a $150,000 bond and agreed to wear a GPS-tracking device, also known as an ankle monitor.
If found guilty, she could face up to three years in prison for the grand theft charge.
