Delhi BJP Unveils Historic ₹1 Lakh Crore Budget with Focus on Development and Welfare

The ₹1 lakh crore budget marks a 31.5% increase in spending, with ₹28,000 crore allocated for infrastructure, doubling previous capital expenditure.
₹5,100 crore has been set aside for the Mahila Samriddhi Scheme, providing ₹2,500 monthly to eligible women to enhance economic independence.
Healthcare receives ₹6,874 crore, including the expansion of Ayushman Arogya Mandirs and integration with the Ayushman Bharat scheme to improve accessibility and coverage.
Education modernization includes ₹100 crore for CM Shri Schools, ₹750 crore for free laptops to 1,200 Class 10 students, and ₹21 crore for new language labs.
The budget also prioritizes urban development with ₹9,000 crore for clean water and sanitation projects, including efforts to clean the Yamuna River through upgraded sewage treatment systems.
