Chain-reaction crash involving seven vehicles occurred on the Northern Marmara Highway in Sakarya province, northwest Turkey.
The accident, which happened in dense fog and low visibility, resulted in at least 10 fatalities and 57 injuries.
Authorities believe the accident was triggered when a vehicle hit a truck in poor visibility, causing subsequent crashes.
At least three intercity buses were involved in the accident.
Seven of the injured are in serious condition, according to Gov. Yasar Karadeniz of Sakarya.
