DNA Breakthrough Leads to Arrest in 30-Year-Old Virginia Murder Case

Robin Lawrence was stabbed to death in her Virginia home in 1994 while her young daughter was present.
The case went unsolved for nearly 30 years until advanced DNA testing matched suspect Stephen Smerk.
Detectives approached Smerk in New York to collect a DNA sample, after which he confessed.
