Documentary 'Dear Viv' to Celebrate Life of Drag Icon The Vivienne

The film, produced by Drag Race creators, will explore The Vivienne's journey, legacy, and impact on the drag community following their passing earlier this year.

Dear Viv, a documentary honoring James Lee Williams, known as The Vivienne, will premiere later this year on WOW Presents Plus.
Produced by World of Wonder with the support of The Vivienne's family and friends, the film will feature archival footage, fan letters, and interviews with loved ones and fellow performers.
The Vivienne was the first winner of RuPaul’s Drag Race UK in 2019 and had a celebrated career in television, theater, and drag performance.
Contributors to the documentary include drag artists Baga Chipz, Michael Marouli, and Danny Beard, who reflect on The Vivienne's influence and achievements.
The documentary aims to commemorate The Vivienne's talent, compassion, and contributions to the drag community, as well as their journey from North Wales to international stardom.
