DOJ spends over $9 million investigating Trump's mishandling of classified records and effort to overturn 2020 election

Special Counsel Jack Smith has spent over $5 million looking into Trump's classified documents case and possible role in Capitol attack.
The Justice Department spent nearly $4 million more supporting Smith.
Trump was indicted on 37 felony counts for keeping classified records but pleaded not guilty.
Smith is also probing Trump's attempts to undo Biden's election win.
Two other special counsels spent over $1.7 million combined investigating Biden and Durham probe.
