Dolly Parton Announces New Album 'Rockstar' Featuring Legendary Collaborations

Dolly Parton announced she will release her first rock album, Rockstar, on November 17th, which features collaborations with over 40 artists across 30 tracks.
The collaborations include Paul McCartney, Ringo Starr, Elton John, Stevie Nicks, Lizzo, Joan Jett, Steven Tyler, and Miley Cyrus.
The album includes covers of classic rock songs like "Let It Be," "Every Breath You Take," "Purple Rain," and "Stairway to Heaven" as well as nine original songs.
Parton will premiere the first single, "World on Fire," at the Academy of Country Music Awards on September 16th.
Parton was initially reluctant to be inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame but eventually embraced the honor and will now release her first rock album.
