Dolphins Sign Cornerback Eli Apple After Jalen Ramsey Injury

The Miami Dolphins have signed free agent cornerback Eli Apple to a one-year contract.
The signing comes after Dolphins' cornerback Jalen Ramsey suffered a torn meniscus injury that will keep him sidelined until at least December.
Apple started 30 games over the past two seasons for the Cincinnati Bengals and has 5 career interceptions over 7 NFL seasons.
The Dolphins were looking to add veteran depth to their defensive secondary due to injuries.
Apple has previously had confrontations with new Dolphins receiver Tyreek Hill when they played for opposing teams.
