Dolphins' Xavien Howard and Terron Armstead Active for Chiefs Game in Germany

Dolphins' matchup against Chiefs strengthened with the return of cornerback Howard after a groin injury and left tackle Armstead from a knee injury, set to fortify Miami's offence line.

  • Dolphins' cornerback Xavien Howard, who missed two games due to a groin injury, was active for Sunday's game against the Chiefs, bringing a formidable pairing with Jalen Ramsey on the other side. Howard has had 29 interceptions since joining the league in 2016.
  • Terron Armstead, Miami's left tackle, was activated off the injured reserve on Saturday after sustaining a knee injury in Week 4 against the Buffalo Bills. His return is expected to strengthen Miami's offence line.
  • Miami's inactives for the game were offensive lineman Rob Hunt, safety Brandon Jones, wide receiver Robbie Chosen, cornerback Kelvin Joseph, and quarterback Skylar Thompson as an emergency third quarterback.
  • Kansas City Chiefs' linebacker Willie Gay was active for the game, while running back Clyde Edwards-Helaire, defensive ends B.J. Thompson and Malik Herring, offensive lineman Mike Caliendo, and defensive tackle Neil Farrell were inactive. Edwards-Helaire did not travel due to illness.
  • Heading into the game, Dolphins' offensive line, set to be fortified by Armstead's return, had allowed just 12 sacks through eight games, marking their spot as the league's No. 1 offense.
