Doomsday Cult Members on Trial for Murdering Family Members in Twisted Plot for Power and Profit

Lori Vallow and Chad Daybell killed Vallow's two children and Daybell's late wife after developing extreme religious beliefs that led them to see their victims as "zombies."
Vallow and Daybell believed they were prophets who would carry out a holy mission as part of the biblical 144,000 during the end times.
The couple allegedly killed for money, power within the cult, and so they could be together while preparing for doomsday.
Vallow is currently on trial and faces life in prison if convicted, while Daybell's trial will happen at a later date.
Prosecutors claim Vallow killed her children after having dreams that her late husband and Daybell's wife would die, allowing them to be together.
