Dr. Dre and Jimmy Iovine to Launch Innovative High School in Inglewood

The new academy aims to revitalize the district with an interdisciplinary curriculum and real-world learning opportunities.

The Iovine and Young Center Academy will open in August 2025 for ninth-grade students, expanding to 12th grade by 2028.
The school will be located on the Crozier Middle School campus, which is scheduled to close in June 2025.
The curriculum will focus on interdisciplinary studies, creative skills, and social impact projects.
Dr. Dre and Iovine are investing in state-of-the-art technology and professional development for staff.
The initiative follows their previous educational ventures in Los Angeles and Atlanta.
