Drag Performer Shangela Faces New Sexual Assault Lawsuit

Poff claims his drink was spiked at a bar in Manhattan, leading to a semi-conscious state in which he was assaulted by an unnamed man and then by Shangela.
The lawsuit cites violations of New York's Victims of Gender-Motivated Violence Protection Law and seeks a jury trial with compensatory and punitive damages.
This is the second sexual assault lawsuit filed against Shangela, following previous allegations from five accusers detailed in a 2024 Rolling Stone investigation.
Shangela has denied all allegations of non-consensual acts, with prior lawsuits either dismissed or settled out of court.
